Are you an experienced workers’ compensation or personal injury lawyer looking to step into a senior leadership role? This highly awarded defendant practice is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to take ownership of its growing recoveries and indemnity practice. The Role: You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of recovery and indemnity matters arising from workplace incidents and negligent third-party conduct. Work includes: Running recovery actions against negligent third parties Managing complex indemnity and contribution disputes Running litigation end-to-end (pleadings, interlocutories, mediations) Advising insurer and employer clients on liability, exposure and strategy Negotiating with plaintiff firms, counsel and third parties Mentoring junior lawyers and supporting staff About You 6 years PAE (Australian qualified) Strong background in defendant workers’ compensation, personal injury, recoveries or indemnity matters Confident managing complex litigation autonomously Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills Collaborative, steady communicator who enjoys mentoring Why Apply?
